Hola!

We are Catira — a Venezuelan restaurant built around connection, conversation and a really, REALLY tasty menu. Inspired by the flavors and vibrant energy of the Caribbean, we’ve created a space that captures the genuine warmth of both its spirit and landscape. In Venezuela, the best nights happen around the table — just delicious food, cold drinks, and long conversations with people who you’ve known forever and those you’ve only just met. Get comfortable—you’ll want to stay a while.

The "Hora Loca" (Crazy Hour) is the ultimate surprise burst of energy during a Venezuelan wedding reception. Just when guests think the party might be winding down, the lights dim, the music shifts, and suddenly — chaos and celebration erupt in the most spectacular way!

bienvenidos
to our party!

Catira is our ‘casita’—with a dining experience inspired by the keystone of Venezuelan culture: ‘la reunión familiar’, aka the humble house party.

No matter where you’re from, everyone knows the magic of a house party: the host is attentive, the food is fresh, the drinks are full, and it’s easy to strike up a conversation with whoever else happens to have shown up.

There are no expectations, no agenda, no pressure. It’s intimate, it’s spontaneous, it’s organic.

You’re not thinking about where you’re headed next, this is the main event—the first stop and the final destination. A house party is a celebration of connection—just people coming together to enjoy good company, good food, and good times. So grab a drink, pull up a chair, and make yourself at home!
